to me, the riot started in late 2006 when ubuntu 6.10 and fedora 5 were released at the same time (http://blogs.gnome.org/aklapper/2006/11/29/bug-flood/). after that, things have never been the same again as before...</description>

		<description>As Xav says, it&#039;s bug-buddy automatically reporting crashes. Creates a huge number of new reports, especially as duplicates aren&#039;t automatically detected (your poor triage team has to do it).
