Even better, if you have an unsupported OS, your only official course of action for a DST patch is to upgrade your OS. Apparently they’ve clubbed together some other patches into this patch.
I don’t get, it perhaps the patch fixes that bug between keyboard and chair… I mean the patch could be a text file reading “adjust it manually and disable the auto DTS”… no eh? they are serious. -_-‘
The amusing thing here is that people who don’t get employed to deal with the fallout of DST patching honestly think it’s a trivial job. Elderly Unixen do _not_ like to be told what time it is.
Warning! those who download and apply the patch are not suppose to adjust their wristwatch for daylight savings without paying royalties to SCO. If you adjust your wristwatch your vioaletting/vialetting/viaoletting (damn! pick the correct spelling from the dictionary) intellectual property rights of SCO which are leased from some other company.

Way to go SCO!
I thought it was a fake, until I looked at their site. Cute!

Morons.
/me shakes his head not surprised
Looking at the patch, they appear to be using the same tzinfo data that everyone else is using.
So it’d be a bit cheeky if they turned around and charged for that data specifically (as opposed to other fixes).
