Apparently it’s Christmas (again!) in Fremont, Dallas and Atlanta.
I’ve been a very happy Linode customer for two years, enjoying excellent network and host reliability, and their occasional loyalty upgrades. You know, 20% RAM here, 20% HDD there. They’re very good to us. 
So imagine my surprise and pleasure this afternoon when I noticed their 100% RAM and HDD plan upgrade… which they’ve passed on to all their loyal customers too! HOLY COW!
Yer not wrong mate. They rock! Been using Linode since April 2004 and they’ve been nothing but brilliant. At first with a Linode64 the lack of RAM was a bit crappy, but I managed. Now I get 384 megs! I did upgrade to the next category up, mind, but at the time that was 128 megs RAM!
Last time I looked at Linode they were over priced for what they offered, now they rock. Signed up today for a cheapo one!

An entire data centre is yet to have the needed additional provisioning and they say it will be “slow going”.
Yes and sadly I’m in that data centre
Might see if I can get moved to another one.
