Scenario: Microsoft patented technologies are built into Mono by the Novell Mono developers. Mono becomes a necessary part of GNOME.
I thought Linux was forked anyhow but at least Novell seems to be trying to give it a new life.
Red Hat already forked it, didn’t they? Jusk ask any ISV…
