Ubuntu on SMH front page

Ubuntu lovers James Dumay and Melissa Draper (of Ubuntu Australia team fame) are quoted in this article about Linux entering the main stream, which popped up on the front page of the Sydney Morning Herald website — along with the Ubuntu logo!

Great job! This was Melissa’s first media experience, and she handled it with aplomb. I just stood on the sidelines and cheered. :-)

The article got syndicated on stuff.co.nz, so even people on the other side of the Tasman saw it.

I’m still shaking… You do know I wanted to run away and hide somewhere, right? If you haven’t guessed, I’m usually shy – who’d have thunk it?

But anyway, huge Thanks for the moral support ;)

And I can’t even spell my own name. How embarrassing.
