“We’ll never know what we’re missing without more women participating in information technology. We can’t measure absence.” — Lucy Sanders, NCWIT CEO and Co-founder
Bonus quote: Ginger Makela, a blogger on the National Centre for Women in IT website, writes about the Women’s Summer Outreach Program, quoting our very own Fernanda Foertter:
“Perhaps it is sexist. But I would say to [critics] … look, you’re missing good input from over 50% of the population … imagine what advances could come out if more women joined the open source wave, sciences and math! Only good can come from encouraging more women to participate.”
The only mistake we made with WSOP is that we can’t verbise the name.

We’re missing input from way more than 50% of the population. Rembemer that the vast majority of men are also not interested in science, math, etc.
“The only mistake we made with WSOP is that we can’t verbise the name.”
The only other problem is that I always mis-read WSOP as “World Series Of Poker”
The first pronunciation which came to mind was:
wayssop.
