I’m considering writing a rebuttal to this article about responsibility of Open Source projects: “All of this adds up to an organisation [The GNOME Project] providing software used by hundreds of thousands of users (and major Linux distributors want to grow that number to tens of millions), with no accountability to those users, and an ability to inflict whatever functional changes they see fit on their user base without financial consequence.”
